There is glamour in evil
its flamboyant and fashionable
Why do the queer get lumped in with villainy?
Because they are a threat to the traditional family?
Is the prototype Gilles de Rais or Elizabeth bathory?
The catholic league put their foot down
Their influence could corrupt our youth!
Using sex to get what you want is uncouth
they banned homosexuality in film
But creators sneaked them in
If these characters get killed
You’re not endorsing hedonism
Colorful figures stand out amongst the grays
But they have to be punished so “bury your gays”

The gloating villain reads the hero while he’s bound and struggling
ok, We get the S and M reference you don’t have to keep insisting
Dr Frankenstein and his assistant bringing life to a golem
Because neither of them have a womb or can provide an ovum
But it winds up perverse, what a curse he just wants a mate
But she rejects him and hisses, what a fate.

If there were no sexual tension it wouldn’t be as interesting

but The ultimate queer baddy of them all
is The beautiful Lucifer who took a fall
And would rather rule below
than serve in heaven NOOOO
So should we all be satanists
And pursue perversity like its nummy bacon bits
If we are grateful that free will exists?

America loves a criminal Hero
Like Billy the Kid or Han Solo
We owe our existence to some snotty brats
Who said, “authority figure: NO!”

Like everyone else on this list
The truth is Satan doesn’t exist
Metaphors can be interesting
And fantasy can be entertaining
Don’t blame him for problems
Or the vices we love and their temptations
Like earthquakes and plagues
gentrification making your rent raise
Is the greed of selfish men

There aren’t evil mystical forces at play
the real queer coded villains were the friends we made along the way
